About
Barbara has worked professionally with dogs for over 30 years including the field of training for over 25 years. She is a former groomer, animal health technician, and pet store owner.
Animal Assisted Therapy
Barbara has also worked for 10 years as a Pet Partner (formerly the Delta Society) certified instructor and evaluator. She can evaluate your dog and help train and ready the owner and dog for the Animal Assisted Therapy program. Animal-handler teams go visiting in schools, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, libraries, and other public places.
